Residential Real Estate

Do not let your realtor tell you do not need an attorney.

The realtor’s first interest is to look out for him or herself and you come in second. Buying a home is by far the biggest purchase of your life and you need someone in your corner to represent you who is not financially interested in the proceeds of the sale.

Most people buy and sell at least one home during their lifetime and frequently the realtor will tell you that an attorney is not necessary. This is not good advice because a good real estate attorney should review the agreement of sale, give advice on inspection reports, assist in the mortgage application process, review title questions and represent you at closing. I have represented hundreds of buyers and sellers of residential and commercial property and I can save you money on things that a realtor will never tell you or even know about.
